Chaos & Calm

Chaos & Calm

Chaos & Calm

Chaos & Calm sessions invite children with any form of disability to enjoy a variety of interactive stories. Each session includes music and interactive elements to help develop early communication skills like Makaton signing, symbols and switches.

There is no expectation that children will sit still and listen and the sessions encourage movement and engagement in a way that suits your child. The sessions are a great chance for parents to meet others, make friends and find support.

Sessions are run by SEND professionals, where parents can expect support and advice on a wide range of SEND topics. This project is available to all families living within Southend City.

Sessions are open to all families caring for a child aged 0-3 with ANY form of disability / SEND. The team encourage referrals from professionals who consider that a particular family would benefit from the sessions however, families are also welcome to contact us directly.
