We’re delighted to announce that the new Families Growing Together project has launched.

Families can drop into the community gardens in Westcliff and Shoebury, and spend some much needed quality family time harvesting vegetables, cooking with the home grown ingredients, caring for the animals and even taking part in storytelling and crafting activities! All activity will be Covid-safe and in line with government restrictions.

The fun doesn’t end there! There are lots of other activities on offer too, from healthy eating and cookery sessions, to creative workshops – available at the gardens or online to suit. Children will love getting dirty in our mud kitchen and will no doubt enjoy playing with others in the sand pit.  As we move into the summer months, what better way for a family to spend a day than out in the fresh air, making memories!

Above all, children love spending precious, quality time with their families and friends.

‘Can I come every day?’ (Tom, age 3)
