A Better Start Southend (ABSS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Farr, Assistant Director for Children, Young People and Families at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), as the new Assistant Director of the A Better Start Southend programme.

Stephanie brings a wealth of experience in the development and management of health services for children and families, and has previously supported the ABSS programme in her role with EPUT, both as a provider of services and a key strategic partner.

Stephanie says: “I am delighted to be taking up this exciting role and look forward to supporting the development of the comprehensive portfolio of evidence-based projects, helping to achieve the best outcomes for children and families in Southend”.

Jeff Banks, Director of A Better Start Southend, says: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Stephanie to the team. The appointment builds our capacity at an important stage in our development, reinforcing the importance of our partnerships with NHS organisations and agencies. Stephanie’s expertise and experience will be a real asset for the ABSS programme”.
