The past year has been a difficult time for many of us, and things we usually enjoy doing have become more difficult for us given the current restrictions.

That’s why A Better Start Southend has launched a new research project with our internal Research and Evaluation team to understand more about the experience of families in accessing services, to learn how we could make it a smoother experience.

As part of the research, we want to speak to parents about the difficulties they may have faced in accessing support services during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown measures. We hope this will help us to improve our offer and deliver the kind of support that parents and families find most useful.

Taking part in this research will involve a short informal interview (30-45 minutes) with our researcher Dimitra, by Zoom or telephone. We always work in line with GDPR and Data Protection laws, which means the information shared in these interviews will never be passed on to anyone else or used for anything other than research purposes. Parents will also remain anonymous.

If you or someone you know may be willing to take part, please get in touch by email
