ABSS places the voices of parents at the heart of service design and delivery.

For ABSS, co-production means that communities, delivery partners and professionals work equally together throughout the design and delivery of services. Respecting and valuing the views of people engaged in our projects will improve outcomes and ensure that services meet the needs of children and families.

Parent Champions

Parent Champions are local parents who want to make a meaningful difference in their communities, and volunteer their time to raise awareness and encourage participation in the ABSS programme. Here, Parent Champions share their reflections on their journeys with ABSS.

Children’s Research

ABSS conducted a research project with the children who have participated in the programme to explore the impact it has had on them. Children shared their perspectives through mediums such as audio capturing, drawing, and arts & crafts.

ABSS shares reflections from both current and former staff, and governance board members, about their experiences working for the charity.
