ABSS funding of Build a Bond Through Play workshops has now ended. Learning from this pilot
project will be shared to relevant partners to support their work with families into the future.

Little Minds Matter with The Power of Play: Build a Bond Through Play

During 2024, ABSS-funded Build a Bond workshops have guided families to understand how they can support their child’s emotional development and wellbeing through play and deepen the parent/child bond.

 

Delivered by a qualified child and adolescent psychotherapeutic counsellor and a play therapist, the free workshops helped parents / carers discover why play is so important, how to connect through play and build a bond with their children.
