A new CID fund project for 2024.
Delivered by a qualified child and adolescent psychotherapeutic counsellor and a play therapist, parents can access free learning workshops to discover why play is so important, how to connect through play and build a bond with their children.
Play is a significant area of child development. Research has found that playing and playing together increases child communication skills, emotional resilience, academic attainment and even physical health. Play is how children make sense of their world and process their feelings.
