From 1st April 2025, the Welcome to the UK: Friendship Fridays service will not be funded by ABSS. Welcome to the UK will, however, continue to offer this support.

Welcome to the UK: Friendship Fridays

Welcome to the UK is a registered charity that was established in 2014 to support families from overseas to settle in the UK with dignity. They run regular English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for beginners to more advanced learners. They provide support to members through health and information workshops, one to one sessions and much more.

 

Welcome to the UK run a weekly Friday Friendship Group where people are welcome to share their experiences, discuss any challenges they might be facing, and receive support to address and overcome these issues. It is also a perfect environment to unwind with a cup of tea and practice English language skills.
